More zoomtown Woes...even with oncoming 10Mbps

I got Zoomtown and I havent turned off my Roadrunner yet! But since it has been installed no matter how many times the cool tech guy comes out, my modem keeps having "Out Discard Packets", and thats the ONLY problem. I'm trained at 6Mbps, and no amount of line change fixes this "dropping". Just as I'm typing this my westell reports over 600! It happens the more I transmit and it happens no matter what pc I have it connected to.The tech has switched my line down the street and as a last resort is coming tomorrow to remove the other phone outlets in my apartment. Any suggestions? I wouldnt care but my online games keep disconnecting. There are never any in errors. The errors are on the WAN side not the ethernet. The data path is "Interleaved" and line mode is "undefined". Help!!

They have given me a previous version of router to fix my problems, but I can't log into it thru ethernet as far as I've tried. it is model c90-611060-06. I think I need to use the usb to access the modem, but there are no drivers on the westell site, and CBT doesnt have them either. What can I do to access this to find my "lost packet" info ?

You can't log into that model I don't think even if you use USB.

XDSL is speed over distance. so if you live in the boonies, dont expect wonders.
if they have already switched the pair at the c/o and you still have issues, - packet loss, slow train w/e you want...then its either the area of town or the connection in the neighborhood

the westell 6110 is a bridge. meaning no router, meaning no logging in to it at all...thats the c90-611060-06 blah blah
