dddane join:2002-01-10 Chicago, IL 1 edit	who to blame we haven't been able to load youtube here at work, and it's not because it's restricted. it's not that youtube isn't loading, but it's very very slow to the point where you might think it's not loading if you're not patient. (though google works fine... so i'm sure it's of no relationship). we've had the routes checked and it was determined to be a routing issue past our 1st level provider and in cogent's route to google. we contacted google and cogent but they haven't fixed it. it's been 3 or 4 weeks now.

S_engineer Premium join:2007-05-16 Chicago, IL	The site itself takes awhile to load for me, I don't view youtube. Is this a regional issue? I thought it was just me...nice to know it's not on my end, but now I have the daily item to add to the Comcrap bitch list. -- Where have the adults gone?

dddane join:2002-01-10 Chicago, IL	my connection @ work actually goes out to the 'net in NY via ATDN (ATDN has diagnosed it as cogent issue)... so if it is regional it's a wide region, if it's the same issue.. though the particular issue w/ comcast seems unrelated
