U. S. Cellular

Used to be you could get a phone for a penny and now it's an arm and a leg, plus hardly no one sells just a plain phone anymore. Now you have to pay for a cheap phone, sign a 2 year contract, get hassled for 12 weeks waiting for a stupid a$$ rebate, get charged $30 for "account activation" when you already have had an account for over 12 years, and then they want $15 to take 5 min to transfer your info from old to new phone. The only good thing is a few of the retailers have figured out that they should keep a few phones in the back charged up and ready to go, because up until a couple of years ago, they would give you the new phone and then tell you to take it home, don't use it, and put it on a charger for 24 hours.
