| Overworked router?
10/30 - I'm connected to the local SEA-POP access point here in Seattle. My first few hops trace fine (router->modem->tower->clearwire-dns), but the fourth hop on just goes to shit.
It's dropping packets like crazy, I can't stay connected to IRC or IM, and uploading videos to YouTube is neigh impossible.
Anyone else experience these problems today?
[Edit: ignore this post. It turns out it was my Windows Vista machine acting up. Why am I not surprised?] |

| You guys can ignore this post. It turns out it was Windows Vista being stupid.
Originally all signs pointed to clearwire acting up - the trace always start to hiccup on the fourth hop - but upon further investigation, it appears I have run into a not uncommon problem with Windows Vista wireless networking.
You can't imagine how frustrating that was, learning that I needed to reboot in order to get my network working again >:( |
