Re: PRIVATEphone too? ? I just went on the privatephone website because of a voicemail attachment in my email. PrivatePhone will be shutting down on December 15. PrivatePhone is the free version of NZ's VoIP, so when NZ shuts VoIP service down, PrivatePhone will too. The link on the website takes you to Packet8. I signed up and so far, I like the service. Can't beat getting a free phone and 1st month free! Nominal charge of less than 5 bucks for admin fee. I requested a port of my current number to them.
