 | Proof? Of course I'm biased (see tag) but it seems somewhat immature for the University of Alabama to imply that these spam messages were launched by the official campaign. Now, if this was true, I certainly would think twice about voting for Paul. However, there doesn't seem to be much proof to this case.
Ron Paul supporters tend to be very outspoken, and I highly doubt this is the work of anyone within the campaign. This action by the U of A reminds me of that other school that was quick to blame the iPhone for network issues (and gave Apple a ton of bad press) only for the issue to end up being with Cisco's firmware. -- Ron Paul 2008!

If this was officially orchestrated by the campaign, I would rely on proof from outside sources, not what the official campaign states. And as of right now, there is NO proof; just some school's 15 minutes of fame. -- Ron Paul 2008!

Gee; conspiracy mongering from a Ron Paul supporter? Who'd have thunk it?
This was almost certainly from a cultish supporter, not the Bircheresque Crank himself. Since Paul is a non-issue in the campaign besides being a minor annoyance, there's no reason for anyone else to try and act against him.
Still, it's no secret that he tends to draw a lot of support from the nutjob demographic- something I can hardly characterize as accident given his repeated appearences on the Alex Jones (batcrap insane conspiracy theorist) radio show. |

 | You want a real batcrap insane conspiracy radio show listen to Rush.
I don't understand connecting someone like Ron Paul, that only talks about abiding by the US Constitution and advocates a foreign policy that makes sense, with nutjobs. -- Pull my finger..... |
