on an aside, this past month, Comcast ended a promo-period rate i had for broadband, because i now am.. and i quote
"In a Verizon FiOS Service Area"this is not true, and was confirmed by Verizon, as they haven't run the fiber yet.... but... what business is it of Comcast's?

You've been waiting 2 years? I've been waiting since 2002 or 2003 when they were still in the planning stages. Luckily for me they went live here last month, and my install date is set for 11/20. You'll get it eventually, don't worry.
