Mixed feelings

On one had the apartment my no long be stuck to a exclusive contract but at the same time I feel that an unintended consequence is the cable companies will think twice before investing in a MDU and increase cost to the builder.

As for cable cost on can not compare 1995 to 2005. in 1995 I had the top of the line cable with 50 analog channels. in 2005 one can get over 200 channels.

If you look at the channels. Many of them are pay-per-view.
There have been SOME cable channel additions, but there are many shopping and religious channels. There are many Spanish language channels. The increased channels are progress and useful to some, so I'm not dismissing them all together. Cable had to keep up with Dish and DirecTV though...
Too bad the cable internet speeds aren't increasing the way channels are increasing...
