| reply to R0CKY i am not a heavy user, but i am also doing my part to help, i started 2 days ago when and if i have D/lding to do i set the timer to start @ 1.30am to 6.30am, i have only been with TSI for 2 weeks and i like it so this is my little contribution to help ease congestion at peak hrs |

| reply to TSI Jason Except it only updates when you disconnect. For example, towards the end of last month, my counter was at 99GB. I then proceeded to use a bunch of additional bandwidth (I'd estimate 15-20GB) over the course of 2 or 3 days. I had some HD stuff I needed to pull down for an upcoming screening.
But when I look at my usage now, I see October, 99GB, November, 0GB.
So even though I used that bandwidth in October, it looks like it'll be rolled over until November, which means that it'll also affect (due to averaging) my December bill...
Unless when I disconnect, both October and November will be updated? |

@teksavvy.com | reply to R0CKY I have to say I love the service so far.
I don't play online games and don't do BT. Just downloading from newsgroup. And I don't download 1TB or something not even close. About 500GB/m. Good to hear the unlimited will be staying that way. |

That said, some of us out here are really hoping you guys will be able to bring Unlimited out west some day. -- Go Leafs Go! |

| reply to Guspaz Nope, if you're connected for 12 days from the 25th of october to the 6th of november it'll all roll over counting as november bandwidth. Its a fair system all in all you generally get pretty accurate results when you average it out over a couple months |

Well I can tell you I've never seen anyone connected that long, usually about 10-20 days is the max you'll ever see. I cant really speculate on something that hasn't happened to my knowledge, however we can track your logs so finding out you were connected for 90 days would be cake |

| reply to R0CKY Rocky,
I have to say I am very impressed by you. While Cogeco decides to finally enforce their cap by disconnecting people instead of having a plan in place to give people options, you guys come up with a very fair option to allow Premium members to increase their cap without gouging them. Bravo!
After the 10 years we have been with Cogeco, so figure $5000 worth of Internet fees alone, never mind our cable TV, they just cut us off and offer no solutions. Talk about a poorly thought out business model.
You guys need to look at offering TV as well!!!
Cheers! |

Before Teksavvy entered puberty and started to grow big time and change routers at regular intervals, I had sessions lasting a couple of months between power outages. Steve might remember. (Of course, he has now been rebranded TSI Steve after Rocky found a branding iron in the barn and decided to use it on all his employees). |
