I just checked the 'Price increase - notifications' thread discussing new bandwidths and it starts out with Rocky saying<br><br>Premium is now allowed 200g/mth<br>EDIT: Capped Amount: 200GB (formerly 100GB)... further into these discussions to bridge gaps... see within for discussions.<br><br>but just about everything that follows in the discussion implies or says 100g/mth:<br><br>We've considered all the options and are giving a solutions that does scale very well.<br><br>Premium - 100GB cap<br>Premium + usage - @ $0.25/GB<br><br>We adjusted to rates in such a way that will make it great for the heavy users going forward (keeping it alive) and at the same time allow anyone wanting to keep the $29.95 that are using 100GB (or less), which is a little over 70% of the unlimited user base.<br><br>The pre-payment statement is to buy your blocks ahead of time, so if you expect to use 200GB then buy an extra block of 100GB at $10.]]></description>

To be simple, you can have a computer for downloading that is connected through unlimited. To get fancier, you can have the router automatically detect P2P traffic and route it over the unlimited link.<br><br>Of course, it's still one DSL line, so this doesn't solve any performance issues.]]></description>

I had some HD stuff I needed to pull down for an upcoming screening.<br><br>But when I look at my usage now, I see October, 99GB, November, 0GB.<br><br>So even though I used that bandwidth in October, it looks like it'll be rolled over until November, which means that it'll also affect (due to averaging) my December bill...<br><br>Unless when I disconnect, both October and November will be updated?]]></description>

Usenet is "it" for me - I don't even consider surfing and email a factor these days for useage - and personally dread those P2P things. <br><br>That 5 hr. window overnight may seem small but you can do quite a bit with it @5Mb.  Thats a couple of DVD's, or a full season of a TV show DVDRip of 24 episodes - or even 8 of the new hi-res 720p.HDTV.x264 TV shows if you are so inclined. <br><br>Now of course if one were to do this every day it would really add up in a month - almost 300Gig I figure. Effective November 1st (today), the overage on the Premium will be $1/GB.<br><br>We've also discussed bulk options, so for those who plan to use more than 100GB and wish to keep premium, a work around that is very fair would be to purchase the equivalent of a $10 additional account (minus the login)... So simply ask to pre-buy a bulk $10/100GB.  You must make your bulk purchase ahead of your next billing in order to have it be added to the biller...<br><br>As a side note... the Unlimited will remain in affect as discussed!  We don't plan to remove it any time soon (if ever).  We are however working at finding ways to lessen the overall costs to deliver the unlimited option (ie: a vanilla delivery method/lower cost something), but this is nowhere near top priority right now....  Heavy users...
