@comcast.net

online gaming

Ever since they started doing this heavy traffic shaping, my online gaming experience has been absolutely horrible. Or at least, I figure they're the culprit since I'm not going through a router or firewall, and periodically can "download" game data (I can see people moving) but I can't "upload" (can't move or act). Additionally, when this happens and I am going through a router with another computer hooked up, the other computer can't access the internet. Sounds like reset packets to me.

Is this unfair use? To want to play an online game?

And most pertinently, whatever you think about the good or bad of it, don't you think Comcast should have been up front about all this? How can you be so accommodating when the only way we found out about this was from the scandal it caused?
