SIP configuration on a Uniden UIP1869V Digital VoIP Telephone
said by haridsv See Profile :

After trying a few things, I reverted back to the settings suggested above and I was able to get a line.
AFAIK, the above configuration is sort of misleading. It suggests that you configure your device with a SIP Registrar Address server + Outbound proxy. I don't think SIPPhone nor GizmoProject supports and/or provides an Outbound proxy for their clients to use; however, their SIP server also acts as a SIP Registrar Address server. Anyone who has unlocked any Vonage ATA devices based on a TI AR7 chipset, i.e. Linksys/Vonage WRTP54G (includes Linksys/Vonage RTP300), Linksys PAP2v2, DLink VTA-VR, Uniden UIP1869V Digital VoIP Telephone, etc., will notice that their unlocked device only supports for a SIP Registrar Address server and no Outbound proxy nor STUN options. For me, I just configured my Uniden UIP1869V Digital VoIP Telephone on my private LAN behind a NAT/Firewall router using proxy01.sipphone.com as its SIP Proxy and SIP Registrar Address servers (see the above attached snapshot) and it has been working since without any problem. I don't know if this will help; however, it sure won't hurt to give it a try. Good luck.
