$42.95

$42.95 here in MI. for me, for the already been upgraded to 5/512 on a free deal from the 3/256 quite some time ago. Forget when that is set to expire!

Just hanging out in the Charter forum to see what it finally settles at. Anything much over $40 a month for internet, is to much for me!!

May be switching to Verizon DSL, even though the last time I tried them, I could only get 1.5/384 from them.

Re: $42.95

Here in southern California the upgrade date is February 1 st. with prices of $49.00 for the 5MB and $59.00 for the 10MB....Of course that is with the bundled service we have.

Verizon DSL is advertised at $29.99 for a year, but that is 1.5MB service...It goes up to $49.00 after the year is up.

Re: $42.95

I already pay $59 for the 10M service (bundled with TV/phone of course) where I am. So where's the upgrade in that?

If Charter thinks they can bump me to 16/2 and then put the price hike on the bill, I'll be going right back to the 10M (and the price I pay now, and what it will be then), in a new york minute.

Charter confuses me.

I believe the regular price here is $34.95. Could be $39.95 too. Just did a quick search on my phone number. Here's the current deals. That gives me better upload than Charters current deal. "IF" I can actually get that, this time!! I would appreciate more upload over download anyway.
