3MB to 5MB without asking

Have been bumped from 3MB plan to 5MB plan by a automated computer that called my house three months ago.

#1 Don't want or need anything above 3MB have called and told them that in the past.

#2 Ordered 3MB and speed test most time says not getting 5MB now.

#3 If the price next year goes up even $1 they are going to have 1 less customer next year.

#1 its a free upgrade...so why would you not want it.
#2 speeds tests are wildly inaccurate tests. Never rely on them.
#3 If you complain about a $1 increase in a year you got other issues to deal with than cable bill. :P

I find it hard to believe it would be a free upgrade but what do i know.
You know, I do speedtest all the time and I do get the full 5 megs i pay for. I also get the full 512k upload. This hasnt always been the case as earlier in the summer i couldnt get a meg of the 5 meg.
The problem i have is that even if you do get the full 5 meg pings and latency still suck. When i say suck i mean they suck bad. I do online gaming with xbox live and i cant host games, Way to much lag for others. I connect decent to some games then alot of em its lag city. I just wish that charter would take into consideration they need to be focused on making product better. They are the only service in my area for now and thats the way it is with alot of people so they arent concerned about fixing the issues.

Why should we always pay more each year. The prices for the producer get cheaper, yet they want us to pay more. Is it to pay more to ESPN?

It's against your TOS to be a server and host games. LOL...
And Bittorent is evil too...
Sorry, I just wanted to get a jump in on some people around here... I think you should be able to do whatever you want with YOUR connection that you pay for!
