| "New" Webmail??
I have been seeing the ads touting the new webmail for months, I have signed up for all of my accounts, and yet still no activity regarding an upgrade? Is this still in beta? Why advertise and hype so much if not everyone can see it???
What am I missing here??? -- Wormleysburg, PA |

| I do hope this new mail system does something about the awefull spam issues @verizon.net accounts seem to be hit with.
All of my @verizon.net accounts, even those never divulged to any site, have been seeing massive amounts of experimental spam messages. I hope they get a good spam system that allows users to turn on tough protection so we don't need to deal with all of the spam garbage. |

Change to yahoo mail or gmail.com |

I get like 0 spam to my Verizon email address. I don't use it other then I have it setup as part of the initial service. I don't think I have a complicated email either so that isn't the reason I'm not seeing spam. I've had it for 2 years now. Maybe the spam is coming from sources that you provided the email address to? -- Tweaked your connection? | Mail Parse | Speed Converter |

Maybe the spam is coming from sources that you provided the email address to? My email account CAME with spam. As soon as it was created spam was there. And I got more spam a few hours later. I did not use a common word or name for the address. Verizon has some issues.
Solution is not to use a ISP's crap email service. Just use something like Gmail or Yahoo that has anti-spam built in. Also, if you switch ISPs in the future, you won't lose you address. |
