I tried to unlock my new PAP2-VN following the described procedures, but was unable to get the browser page to unlock it... Could it be due cause I have it conected thru a Hub, not a router???
Please help!

| I have my PC connected to a Hub, and also connected the PAP2 to the Hub... when I tried to see the page using the explorer and the address i get using the phone on the PAP2 I received a message I want to get connected or use off line, but couldn't see anything either... Previously I disconnected the ADSL from the Hub...(Hub=Encore ENH708-MIN)

This makes it hard for readers here to try to help you because we all don't know if the unlocking procedures you took are correct to have unlocked your PAP2. |

I followed instructions from »[PAP2] Unlocking Guide
But couldn´t unlock the PAP2-VN eiteher see the browser page using the PAP2 IP address...

Hub or router is same. can you ping it? maybe you have the wrong ip. |

However, I router can act as an intelligent HUB that knows how to direct traffics to their destination on the proper ports. A plain HUB just can't do this in the sense what your computer sees on its port is also available on the other ports on the HUB. That's why we prefer to use a HUB than switches and/or router with switches to sniff packets. These days, it is almost impossible to shop for a new router with a HUB, but switches ONLY. |

I borrowed an used a Belking router and worked!!
Now my PAP2-NA is fully unlocked. I will try to unlock the PAP2-VN as per meister_sd instructions and then use both on FDW.
