What is so hard about the concept of keeping the Alabanza Equipment up-and-running during the migration? You set up the new hosts at the Navisite site, restore back-up images of the sites to Navisite hosts, set up the Navisite DNS servers, and then update both the Alabanza and Navisite DNS Servers to point at the Navisite versions of the hosts. After the TTL on the A Records expire, you can shut down the Alabanza hosts. A final Incremental backup of the Alabanza host (or a stopping of FTP Update activity) insures that the Navisite back-up created host is in sync with the live Alabanza version. |
