Who is doing videos above SD anyways.
Plus, YT resizes whatever you upload *AND* converts it to Flash so we here we are.
Some accept YT as being ok.
I do not!

It makes it quite useless since the majority of YT type videos are user generated with cheap consumer grade digital cameras.
Also, isn't Vuze a download via Bittorent, then view the video type of system? I think loading up a website, typing in your search terms and clicking a video is a helluva lot easier. Sometimes we're not looking for quality, but ease of use and entertainment.

What happens to SD video when you upload it to YT?
It gets halved and then converted to Flash.
So, even generoid SDTV clips get hosed thanks to YT.
Some videos at VUZE *DO* start playing after a short download - it does have an embeded player... in the software.
The issue is, if people accept YT quality as OK, no one will ever step up and provide better.
480x360(+/-10) is pathetically low res
TV is 640x480, right? Nearly anything these days is 640x480 or larger!
We won't go into widescreen letterbox vids on YT.
A pack of cigarettes/deck of cards is larger than the POS YT player on my screen! 
Putfile at least has a slightly larger screen - 630x430(+/-10)
