And then, sadly, and more sadly by the day..there is AT&T.
Fiber to a vrad hanging off telephone polls at street level in Ct...
All the VRADs I have seen in San José, California, are firmly planted on the ground. Mostly adjacent to B-Boxes; a couple adjacent to RTs.
...connected to ...lol..my god...that tired old crap that couldn't even get me a good phone signal in the last town i lived in. That line that couldn't even get me dsl at ANY of my last two address...and even metro ones at that.
Doing fine with voice and DSL, here. Pro package; 3M/.5M. It has been as reliable as cable.
But NOW....you and others still promote this god awful crap as being a viable medium to not only bring that..but to ALSO bring TV and phone to people as well?
I won't go that far; but it does seem to be working for the Japanese and Koreans. I am reasonably certain that their 100Mbps connections are VDSL bonded pair.
