Sorry I meant to compare the DWA-142 and DWA-130 which were the products available here in USA market... 
I'm curious why D-Link doesnt have a XTREME N wireless USB adapter? |

| If I would try to compare DWA-130 and 142 without having seen the 130, I would prefer the DWA-142 as it is a MIMO adapter and has an excellent range and speed.
DWA-130 may have the same speed but not the range of the DWA-142. With both Windows (Vista/XP)I get Speeds up to 9 MByte/s in a distance of 10m (30ft ?  ) and one wall.
9 MByte/s with DIR-655 ! With DIR-635 it is about 6,5 MByte/s. |
