Re: [OK] Cox doesn't mess with Bittorrent traffic, does it?

all i can say with certainty is this. My torrents download much slower on my Cox 12/1 connection than they did on my AT&T 6/1 FTTP connection. I've tried changing clients, made sure my ports are forwarded properly, changed routers...It's a mystery.

I could max out my 6mbps pipe on ATT. On Cox I can never break 500KB/sec no matter how many torrents I have running, or how good the sources are.

That does sound odd.
I regularly get over a 1MB/sec on my torrents with Premiere.
Anyone else in your area getting the same results?

My neighbor and friend has experienced the same. Strange thing is, we can max out our connection no problem on websites like Microsoft, Apple...
