Thank you for this simple solution ! I also had Bright House tech support on phone for an hour and she said my problem must be Outlook. Turns out, I was connected to a neighbor's wireless network, not mine. All works fine now. Thanks again !!!!!

The error message you are seeing reflects that you are not connected to the Road Runner network. I had a gentleman call me last week about this very same issue. He had connected by mistake to his neighbors Wi-Fi (which is a DSL connection, off TW network) and therefore when he went to send mail to anyone but a road runner address, it gave this message. Once we disconnected from the neighbors Wi-Fi and connected to his own, it worked like a champ.

Double check where you are connected for one, see where your IP address is resolving to. If it isnt road runner, you have your answer.
