I just got my Verizon 727 USB modem yesterday. I'm in a supposed A area and was told to expect an average of 500-700 kbs. What I've actually gotten (both last night and through out the day today is peaks of 500-700 kbs with such frequent valleys that I'm actually averaging more in the 10-20 kbs range. So how do I tweak it/use the latest correct settings (and yes, I did update the software)? (And before you tell me it's in the manual, the only manual I got was a Verizon specific one, although it mentioned a 727 specific manual that was not in my box.) |
