I gotta laugh cause I know probably 100 people that use torrents, and none of them are using it to get Linux..but that all say they are..:)
I think if we really checked, we would see that no one is downloading Linux.....well, maybe 3 people did...By mistake....:) |

Kokomo, IN | You do have a point. Me personally, I hate torrents. I rather use newsgroups. But most of the major linux distros do use torrents. But if you don't want to use torrents you still can use mirror sites. |

I just downloaded the gOS distro last night. Via FTP they have only 20 connections and no mirror sites. They link you directly to the torrent. |

I have used it lately to get:
a) Ubuntu 7.10
b) Kubuntu 7.10 (the CD and DVD)
c) Kubuntu 7.10 alt (had trouble with the others)
I also reported Bug #161117 last night to the Ubuntu support team (need more proof than that?)...so screw all you f'ing self rightous people. Get your heads out of your...well, you know where they are.
I d/ld these in the period of 2 days...you can add up how large they are, and I'd say many who try Linux do the same |
