Re: Die Sprint die!

How insightful of you.

What crappy technologies would they be anyway? Would one of them be the superior lower frequency that has been good for me? allowing me to be in the basement of high rises and still have signal? How about the quick, fasted most reliable 2-way service? Would one of them be the Rev A broadband with low pings and fast speeds?

Please... enlighten us.

I agree Sprint has a horrible customer service department, but I hardly see how the crosses over to their technology. If you want to be accurate, there isn't a single PCS provider out there that is 100% reliable at all times in all places.
That's what people fail to admit. They bad mouth the company as a whole because of CS but when they jump ship, they cry about the network. So, suck it up and deal with crappy customer service or deal with a network that's not as dependable. I liken it to car dealers. You can have the best product every made, but a crappy dealer and service experience can make you shop elsewhere when your in the market for a replacement, or you can have a crappy product but have your ass kissed everytime you call in. Guess some people just can't get their priorities in order. And you are 100% right. NO BODY, NO CARRIER is 100% the best. They ALL have issues, just when your in the ring, people tend to beat you up more.

And I wouldn't give MN AG too much credit. Verizon and ATT deserve the pats on the back. It's the market, not the STATE(S) who got them to make the change. Me, to stop all the crying and bitching, I would drop the EFT all together. Give the customer 2 choices. Pay FULL price for the phone and go month to month, or get your rebates and subsidy for 1 year contract. You cancel before that year is up, you owe Sprint a prorate amount for the phone. You get to keep the phone, or you can turn it in for a credit, as long as it's servicable. I'm sure there would be lots of people willing to pay 500.00 for a treo, then 6 months later, cancel service and pay 250.00 bucks..
