Re: Cedar Park Rant Don't I wish. Here in SBC/TX the FTTP is still PPPoE and our IP's come out of the same netblock as the DSL customers.
When I do speedtests I see 5MB down just like when I had DSL `Elite`. The uploads are better since it's 1MB up instead of 768 UP but again I only see 80K not the full 6/1 that U-Verse users see. |

| PPPoE is not exclusive to ATM networks.
Your speedrate has everything to do with ABC's DSL provisioning. |

| Then you should realize if they set your provisioning cap slightly higher you'd be getting true 6MB even on a PPPoE connection or an ATM network...duh. |
