This portion of the polls deals with software used to edit audio files. This is quite a broad category, as the products listed may be used for creation, mixing, enhancement, and/or conversion of audio files. Some products do it all, some focus mostly on a specific type of task to be performed. Besides Audacity and Mp3DirectCut (and a few rippers and converters), the tool I use most of all is Mp3Gain - I couldn't do without it. With over 60 Gb of music in this box it's essential that there's some sort of consistency to the volume levels.
