Amateur Radio Operators, Please Sign In

Greeting all!
As some of you may know, we're requesting the creation of an Amateur Radio Forum.

»Anyone Here Have An Interest In A Ham Radio Forum??

Since we don't really know how many Hams are out here, I thought it might be nice to have a sign-in post, and this is the only forum (for now, hopefully!) I could think of to put it in.

I am not yet a HAM, but have been thinking of getting into it for some time. Living at 1700' on a ridge in the Fresno foothills, I should be in a good spot for it. Just need to take the time to study "HAM for Dummies" and do the initial test.

IMO the following link is all you need to do for studying and getting your tech license. »www.qrz.com/p/testing.pl

They have several test, all questions right from the pool of questions you will see on the test. Take it daily, learn from it and you will pass the test.
