We are the Borg.
Resistance is futile.
A ham in Bothell, WA designated me "The Borg" after
looking up my pic on qrz.
Now when I break in with my call, no one says my call,
it's "Hi Borg"

And now for the almighty shameless plug: (Couldn't resist)
On the mighty frequency of 3.970 Mhz, LSB.
From 7PM-9PM Pacific Time, and from 9PM till whenever
the net closes, you'll find the Northwest Country Cousins
and the Western Country Cousins.
"Service and help to all mankind, when in need, call a
country cousin".

Got a vanity call sign. I work for the VA hospital (Veterans' Health Administration), and the hospital is installing an antenna with coax running to the switchboard so I can have a station, so I changed my call to W0VHA.

I would of filed for a club call, and kept my original callsign as well. Can't ever have too many callsigns.

Tech "Plus", but that doesn't mean anything these days

I really need to take my General test, but I'm not really active these days.

Hi there Howard.

I'm about 60 miles west of Rockford, near the Mississippi. I worked mostly DX and some stateside stuff early on, but your call sounds familiar. Do you work contests or DX? I don't have my logbook handy, or I'd see if you were in there.

Unfortunately, I haven't been active since moving to a different house in 1999 and not having the time to move all my "stuff"...
