I have been using XBMC for years now, the only thing it cant do is HiDef stuff, which is mostly TV shows off Discovery & PBS. It also cant do .TS/.TP files. I have a HTPC (Dual Core AMD system) running Media Portal, but its just not the same as XBMC. I would really like to replace it with a better system. If they do this, ill jump on the Xbox 360 bandwagon, but basically use it for media only (my original xbox is never used to play games). |

kudos:4 | I have a couple of original Xboxes running XBMC. My 5 year old likes to play games on them, but othewiuse the system goes unused except as a media center. My 11 and 8 year old kids love streaming music and movies from the server. They think it's great that the music they listen to on their PC can be cranked over the HTS. |
