Great poll La Luna See Profile!

Avast is my primary AV and I seldom, but do occasionally run an on demand scan with Bit Defender Free.
Same here.

Also run SAV 10 on a couple other PCs since I get free home use from work.

McAfee provided free by Comcast. Works great and no yearly fee.

Re: [POLL] Anti-Virus Programs - 2008 Member Choice

I voted for AVG, having used it for years.

I also know that NO anti-virus protects against 100% of the nasties out there, so I also utilize on-line scans; TrendMicro's HouseCall and Windows Life OneCare Safety Scan.

AVG runs daily. The on-line scans are maybe once every two months.

I've been happy with Avast! free in my WinXP, and it's been doing fine in "our" other (Vista) computer, too.

NOD32 here.

I love these polls because they present a wide array of choices, sometimes of programs that I had never heard of. Case in point for me was NOD32 which I first saw mention of on this website.

I use Comodo, ClamAV and IBM Anti-Virus.

With windows I normally use Outpost Security Suite only.

Used to use AVG Free but since the latest version that I installed it does not me to make exceptions any more or very much control over what it does when it finds a "virus"
