London, ON | Establishing PPPoE Connection I'm having problems getting my PPPoE connection to actually connect. It will take me anywhere from 2 to 10 login attempts (and occasionally some banging of forehead on keyboard) to establish a connection. Once I'm connected I'm fine and the connection is pretty stable, no random disconnects or anything. The problem is just getting there.
The error message I'm getting on failed connection attempts is remote server not responding. How can I convince the dang thing to respond more reliably?  |
