[POLL] Office Suite - 2008 Member Choice

said by From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia :
Office Suites - In computing, an office suite, sometimes called an office application suite or productivity suite is a software suite intended to be used by typical clerical and knowledge workers. The components are generally distributed together, have a consistent user interface and usually can interact with each other, sometimes in ways that the operating system would not normally allow.
With that definition out of the way, let us explore our users favorite Office Suite or Program.

This list tries to include all operating systems.
If your choice is not on the list, please let us know below and please include a link to the program.

Nice Poll!

I've been using Open Office for a couple of months on a fresh XP install and it seems to do everything I need.

Thanks for the poll, TransitMan See Profile!

I have Microsoft Office 2000 on my laptop and Open Office on my desktop. Both do an excellent job, and one is free.

Open Office, far smaller files result. I've used OO for slide show presentations, with no issues.

Best one going by far!

For favorite Office Suite, Open Office.

Reading the list of possibilities brought back memories of applications I have used in the past. Notably Enable. Back in those days it was just an integrate software package. Office Suite was not in vogue.

I have to say I find myself using Google Docs more and more. I use the spreadsheet for notes and quick and dirty calculations, mostly for a couple of online games I play, and I've gotten so used to it that when OpenOffice Calc doesn't behave the same way it takes me a moment to realize why.
