<description><![CDATA[anon posted : Suddenlink took over for Cox in much of texas, including my area.  the cable quality is shoddy on many channels, and the "high speed" internet conks out at least once a week.  <br><br>Which makes it even more infuriating when I hear their stupid commercials on the radio about how "boringly reliable" they are.  They're about as reliable as tissue paper shock absorbers, and as useless as a weasel in a cardboard shirt.<br><br>To make matters worse, Verizon DSL seems to realize this, so they charge an arm and a leg, though at least they don't have the outage problems SL does :(]]></description>
