BTW, the window fell on my dad's 2000 HONDA CRX, so it can happen to ANY car.

While I must say that if my present 1996 VW Jetta was my first experience with VW, I'd probably never buy another one, I'm giving them another chance.

Avoid it if it's made in Mexico. A guy I work with will only buy European made VWs. There is a huge difference in the build quality.

clubs:		 New cars are more expensive but I love the fact that you can negotiate with three or four dealers via email and you rates that are comparable to the market value listed on Edmunds.
