| From The Land That FIOS Forgot FIOS came halfway up my street, and then when the crew got to the point where the wires go underground, they realized they forgot to bring their shovels with them. We're still stuck with POTS wires that fail whenever it rains. They just recently started offering DSL at 3 mb, which is better than the 19.2 kb dialup service we got on good days before OOL came along. I'm content with my OOL service for now. I'll keep an open mind to Verizon if they ever do come here with FIOS, but in all the years I've dealt with them, they've given us nothing but grief. |
