You are partially right. Nextel is a tumor now because it is a dead end technology. Sprint has also been unsuccessful in getting the iden customers over to the CDMA network. Instead the iden customers are leaving Sprint all together for better wireless carriers such as Verizon and AT&T. I truthfully believe it's too late for Sprint; and that they are now destined to be bought out by either a private equity firm or Comcast/Time Warner.
