*Steps for How to Optimize Your Systems*

How to optimize your system.

1. download CPU-Z and the Wrar decompressor contained in the Link for the Optimizers from Chicken of Angnor and Cruncher3
.
»**The Latest Seti & Multi Beam Optimizers V2.4v **

2. Run CPU-Z to find out what extensions your CPU uses ie. MMX or SSE or SSE1 or 2 or 3 or SSSE3

3. Download the proper optimizer for your CPU. All optimizers labeled Intel can only be used on Intel systems. Those not labeled Intel are used on AMD systems and some earlier Pent version CPUs.

4.Exit from Boinc shutting it down.

5.Version 2.4v optimized clients are zipped with a program called WRAR the program is available here »**The Latest Seti & Multi Beam Optimizers V2.4v **

6. Extract the correct optimizer into the setiathome.berkeley.edu folder located in Bonic>Projects>setiathomeberkeley.edu
It maybe easier if you extract the 3 files and then paste them into the folder.

7. After successfully extracting the optimized client restart Boinc run The CPU Bench Mark located in the advanced Tab then under the Projects tab do an Update,

8. return to the Tasks tab.

9. You have now successfully optimized your system

10 Good luck and keep on Crunching Work Units.
