North Port, FL | Catch 22 for Verizon? Based on this article, I would be getting yanked off copper. No big deal for me, as I intend to upgrade to FiOS anyway. (And it'll be about the same price as my DSL!)  What might be a big deal is that my house and my neighbor's are both utility retarded--meaning the utilities don't come in on the garage side of the (cement block) house. For POTS, no big deal, for FiOS, another story when it comes to power. Either Verizon needs to trench clear across my yard, or run an extra long line through the attic. A headache for them either way, I'm sure. |
