| Morris County NJ, anyone not have fiber yet?
It's my understanding that the whole town is wired for fiber, and most, if not all people have access too it by now...
But we are located in cedar Knolls NJ, Saddle Road. Everytime I enter in our business number on the FIOS for BUSINESS page, we get a message saying it's not available. Yet, the fiber has been strung out there for at least a year and a half.
Any ideas what could be wrong?

Don't the folks who work at Verizon phone support use the same method we do too check if it's active? |

| reply to TurtleFan Verizon have lousy comunications;)
They have been putting in Fiber to Chatham and Madison, through the summer and Fall. But there is no word on when any type of FIOS will actually be offered to residents. Meantime Cablevision has been calling up their customers for months offering triple deals etc. I imagine Cablevision is getting quite a few people taking their deals and cementing their relationships, because nobody has any idea when Verizon will offer anything. |

| reply to IanR I am in Chatham off Lafayette and I have noticed that the fiber has been up on the poles for a good two or three months now. If you go to the Fios site and put in an address on Fairmont (township) it says Fios is available. Hopefully it gets to the borough soon. |

| Just received notification in the mail that FiOS is now available in the Floral Hill section of Chatham Township. Online order page shows that the following speeds are available:
• 10 Mbps/2 Mbps • 20 Mbps/5 Mbps • 20 Mbps/20 Mbps • 50 Mbps/20 Mbps
and of course FiosTV.
Considering that you can't run a server with these plans, I'm not exactly sure what you'd do with 20/20 or 50/20...
