| Well, it's hard to say what the policy will be like in a year's time, but in general, the TELUS offers are available to new customers only. However, you would still get a contract price (-$5 currently), just not "$19.95 for the first six" or a discounted PC, etc. But like I said, who knows in a year? Also, reading the terms and conditions, I now see that a service agreement will lock in the transfer cap to what it is when you sign up. I think that's new. |

Basically, TELUS offers have a regular month-to-month price, and you can see attractive deal sweeteners in two ways:
1. customer acquisition promotions - new customers only
2. contract discounts
Offers change every quarter. Mark about a month ahead of the contract termination date in your calendar. On that date, phone the TELUS sales reps and ask if there is anything new in terms of some sort of renewal bonus. |
