| This looks hot! Probably worth paying $5 for downloading off of »pbxinaflash.net if you want it now, because so many are downloading it. Looks like they let you share the $5 link. Just be careful whom you share it with. |

| reply to cbrain What exactly does it mean by in a flash? Can you please be more specific? I have some unused 128MB USB flash drives and the ISO file for this PBX in a Flash is 640MB. Then, this doesn't sound like a PBX in a Flash to me, YMMV. |

| I took it as meaning installing it fast (in a flash).
Warning: it will erase all data on your hard drive.
Sure. It would be nice to carry a long a flash drive with * on it! |

1 edit | reply to voiplover pbx in a flash does mean set up quickly, it does not refer to project size...
if you want to run asterisk off flash, take a look at astlinux... very small asterisk project.

Edit: Well, loaded it and it has mostly what TrixBox has but with a fancier interface and Webmin pre-installed. It is running FreePBX 2.3.1.0 and Asterisk 1.4.13. I wouldn't run to this version if you have a working system but if you are starting new - it looks pretty good. The one thing I didn't find was "Asterisk Info" where it shows the Trunks and their status. I found this useful in Trixbox. |
