| employee monitoring software?
I need to find a software program that will track computer usage on a single computer. Log web sites, emails, etc. If possible block access to USB drives?? For a vista machine... any easy solutions for this? I appreciate any suggestions you may have. thank you! |

| reply to dcarroll Look at »www2.dslreports.com/forum/r19388···lication It has good information about the use of said applications.
Keep in mind, that unless you are implementing on all machines, I would not just put it on the one in question, unless the person is aware that you are not targeting just them. What this means, is that as a business owner, you could end up loosing more then just a employee. And this does not matter if the state you are in, is a "At will" employment state.
Also, just noticed that you mentioned about emails, you may want to read »en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2006_HP_Spying_Scandal »search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=A0g···fp-t-471 |

| reply to dcarroll Read through the FBI Search and Seizure manual for Electronic evidence. It is available on line. You cannot simply put a keylogger on a machine like you are talking about doing. Your company will be in violation of federal law. Specifically, read the Supreme Court case O'Connor vs. Ortega. |

| reply to dcarroll For enabling/disabling usb and floppy drives you could try network administrator by intelliadmin which enables you to easily do so remotely.
