PUCs regulate and approve phone pricing packages, so they probably have some say on everything delivered over the line.

I dont think internet traffic is tariffed. Phone yes, FCC regulates TV as well but they can offer you any internet bundle they want. I don't believe they file tariffs regarding internet access for consumers or even businesses other than those currently regulated ala T1 and other circuit based traffic connections Etc....and even those have been less and less subject to tariff filings if im not mistaken.

but i could be talking out my butt.....
I've seen FCC filings of DSL prices. That's why I'm thinking it applies to FIOS as well.
i believe dsl is considered a circuit and thus tariffed in many states. It also rides over the regulated copper. Verions fiber currently doesnt have that regulated...yet....per agreement.

I cant get over 15 to 17 mb upload on most tests because they are too small of a file size but these do the trick and aways get advertised speeds for me.

Good that it works for you

Still no 15 up despite the order being complteded at 11am according to the ticketing system.

Online with tech support and the guy is giving me this line about some sort of "Grace Period".

Hold for 2 minutes.

Are you on a wireless connection? no.

yawn back oh hold again while he consults "Resources"

(Suspect resources is code for I need to research my next excuse in the system).

Can not wait to hear the next excuse..

Holding!

Drone "What are your speakeasy test numbers" (WTF they dont want speedtest.verizon.net?!?) Tell him 15244 and 1787 and he's saying I'm getting what I should.

Repeat to him that I'm using the 15/15 plan and it's back to his resources.

Holding again.

I have a ticket open but there have been no updates all day. Shouldn't it take 5min tops to make a config change?

Guy ended up opening a case to the special projects dept.

Got my ticket number and hung up.

Then of course when I'm in the middle of a 80 man pvp fight in Alterac Valley VZ decides to fix the connection.

At least it came right back..

Now I'm 15/13ish.. gotta play with settings.
