Naysayers and Doomsayers

First to let you all now my Nieghborhood is already VDSL capable. I'm less then 900 Ft from the Box. I have IPTV. I am enjoying the TV. My fiancee loves the Channels that she can get especially the Music stations.

DSL is not dead. People who are ignorant to a majority of emerging techs or just jump on the bandwagon usually make comments of this nature. Until you fully understand this you will never be able to a educated decision. Please don't tell me how many degrees you have or what type of degrees they are. All I will hear is blah blah blah. I know many people without degrees who are extremly knowledgeable about the industry and how it works.

I do not work for QWEST nor for any Telco. i am a true customer so do not say the reason i'm saying this is because they are my bread and butter. IMHO they provide a better service and price point. Although my speeds might not be as high as Cable providers I do know that what I sign up for I will get. Not a range of speed depending on the time of day

I have had High speed internet since 97. Cable was my first choice and had more problems with them in 1 year then I have had with QWEST in 6 years Weather it be ADSL or VDSL. only 3 time has my Internet gone down Twice was because i was doing a service change and then it was only down for 1-2 hours and when I wasn't home. My interleave is only 4ms But even with is was in the 30's I preferred the more stable connection vs the unstable with no interleave.

my 2cents
