| Fear factor anyone? With all the technical complications in implementing "Video DNA", and all the legal ramifications that it does and could imply, I think that it will never actually happen. It's just "scare tactic dis-information" by the big movie companies. With just a few press releases about some new 'Big Brother Is Watching You!' filtering technology, and you'll discourage those who might be considering movie 'piracy', and enough of the 'small time' pirates to stop for fear of getting caught and it won't cost anything at all! It's more or less the same propaganda the music industry put out to stop music piracy (and you see how well that worked!) |
