| Kid's school needs logo improved
I offered to help my kid's school's "webmaster" (she's also the principal !!) out and one thing I noticed was the poor quality of the logo they use. Upon closer inspection, she scanned it in from a document. Hey, she tried... 
I did find a much better quality image on their webserver but it's got a couple things wrong with it. It's "logo3.jpg". It's got two obvious issues:
1) The lime-green background behind "St Anthony" is the wrong color. "logo1.jpg" has a better color that I'd like copied.
2) The phrase "Continue the Tradition" is cut off just slightly. If a similar font is available, can it be fixed ? If not, I think when it's scaled down on the site that that won't be noticeable.
I see now that there's a bit more color in the background of "logo1.jpg", but it's not important at this point.
Oh, almost forgot, is it possible to make it a transparent GIF ? I think that's what I want... She's currently got a background watermark on the entire page and I'll leave it alone for now. I don't want to make lots of changes right now.

If someone could download this PSD and save it as a Gif with transparency, when i try it is removing all the white for some reason, i`m getting rusty  ...

Hmm thats strange because it opens ok for me in PS CS2.
Anyway never mind, i`ll have to figure out what i`m doing wrong.
The image below shows how i`m saving it, but when i do, it takes all the white away ...

Very nice Action Man
If I may make a small suggestion though. Perhaps remove the drop shadow or lighten it up quite a bit. It looks fine on a monitor, but if someone were to photocopy it on a low resolution copier, or worse, fax it, the school's name would be very hard to read.
