There is nothing in the development of 'open' phones that will prevent carriers from continuing to provide subsdized handset tied to lock-in. After all, that's what all the European carriers do. Sounds like you guys are just afraid of a competition of a new business model. -- There *are* no answers, only questions; or, rather, every answer begs another question.
