Re: Convert .mdi file to .jpg or .bmp? Quite nice! I Googled this for awhile, and no one seems to give a good answer to this question. But, this works! I was able to convert the .mdi file to a .tiff file using MdiViewer, then I use IrfanView to convert the .tiff to a .jpg. The visual quality is certainly adequate for my needs.
As best I can tell, this is the only viable answer. Thank you. Saves my butt a lot of time. |

While the converted TIFF file contains the annotations when opened via Microsoft Document Imaging or via the MDIViewer, other viewers (Including IrfanView) do not show them. So I need to re-annotate all of the files using IrfanView. Not a huge deal, and at least IrfanView does allow me to annotate images.
Also, while multiple pages can exist in the TIFF file, each page needs to be converted separately in IrfanView to a different JPG file. I don't see a way to rapidly convert multiple page TIFF files into separate page JPG files. So "batch conversion" is not helpful with multiple page TIFF files. |
