This is madness.The current FIOS network is so overbuilt the entire corporation is paralyzed. Somebody at Verizon has to grow a set of balls and tell the investors it's not working before even their own pet FCC has to step in. Hardly.I never mentioned cable at all and if I did I wouldn't have a lot of positive things to say.I've had Comcast before and in any practically any other industry they'd be unable to survive.They have terrible customer service but Verizon is actually that much worse. Verizons customer service doesn't exist.If you don't have a Verizon phone # you literally have no customer service at all. All you have is a bunch of different departments that switch you back and forth between them, never resolving even the simplest most elementary billing issues.You can spend hours getting a totally artificial charge removed from your bill and it reappears the next month and you have to go through it all again.
My point was, Verizon is so far in over their heads now they cannot even perform the simplest of business tasks.It's impossible to get ahold of a customer service rep who can do more than read down a list and then transfer you to another, laterally trained CSR who just repeats the cycle.They will be glad to transfer you as many times as you want to repeat the same cycle but that's the extent of their customer service.Lateral phone transfer is not customer service. They are aware of the problem but are not hiring any new people, they are just forcing the ones they have to work overtime until they burn out. -- Get Verizon FIOS,The Anti-DIOS |
